Hi, my name is Matt and I'm a freelance photographer based in Ottawa, available for commission throughout Ontario and the rest of Canada. I have fifteen years experience working in the U.K with national and regional newspapers, magazines and commercial clients. My experience in the U.K has given me a broad set of skills, reflecting a diverse and successful business.
I specialise in editorial, corporate and portrait photography. I also cover events throughout the region providing high quality images, from a different viewpoint, from a different angle, for my diverse range of clients adding value to their business.
I'm a quick thinking and creative photographer with the know-how and experience to deliver quality, high impact images, on time, whatever the brief.
I always aim to deliver great images that are above and beyond my clients' demands.

Biography
After starting work as a freelance photographer in 2002, I became a staff photographer at the Derby Telegraph, from 2003 to 2006. I then moved on to Wales News Service, a press agency supplying images to the U.K national newspapers and leading marketing companies on a daily basis from 2006 to 2009. After my time at Wales News I returned to freelancing in and around London. During 2011 I worked for INS News Agency in Reading, before relocating to the West Midlands where I worked with Caters News Agency until August 2013. From 2013 to the day I left the U.K I freelanced in the West Midlands working for high end clients such as Four Four Two magazine, Khuene and Nagel and the British Red Cross.
My work is now based in the Ottawa area, however I am willing to travel for a photoshoot! So if you need a great set of pictures then please get in touch.
