Thought I'd check out the March for Life in downtown Ottawa, there was a pro-choice counter protest there as well. There's a selection of shots from both sides of the march.

They say a good photograph should be able to capture a moment. I think that concept is a bit outdated. Right now I am really fascinated when a photographer is able to recreate something which is not really there without using editing skills. Each angle and framing can tell different versions of what the eyes can see and sometimes only a photographer can see it. We don't always see things just by looking. I am not saying it should be used on fake news or something. I just like when it's similar to painting, where you get to decide where to place things and highlight them. Leave a Reply. |
